* 0000D8 XXXXXXXX (Non-Continuable)

External Library Error. (refer to System Error Code 070 100)
Requires a Service Engineer.

 

* 010021 (Non-Continuable)

Memory Module Test failure.
Switch the Power OFF at the rear of the printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the Power cord and power on the printer, if problem persists Requires a Service Engineer.

 

* 010023

EEROM test failure.  Relates to Main PCA.
Power OFF, wait for 20 seconds and then Power ON. 

If problem continues then requires a Service Engineer.

 

* 010028

EEROM Checksum failure.
Turn the printer Off wait for 20 seconds and turn the printer back ON.

If problem persists Requires a Service Engineer.

 

* 010029

EEROM Write failure.
Turn the printer OFF and ON again from the rear rear of the printer.

If problem persists requires a Service Engineer.

 

* 01002D (Non-Continuable)

The Main PCA cannot communicate with the Carriage.

Firmware DIMM Test failure.

The EIO card is from a third party vendor and may not be fully compliant with the IIO Protocol specification 2.0 OR the EIO card Firmware is not updated.
 Check with the third party vendor. If the EIO card is not compliant then you must install one which is compliant. Update the EIO card Firmware.- Requires a Service Engineer.

00000000 = Cyan Printhead Failure.
00000001 = Magenta Printhead Failure.

The Printer has detected a leak in the Tubes System - Should ONLY appear in printers with the Ink Leak Detector installed.

  • The Ink Leak Detector could have been triggered due to condensation in the Printer.
  • Power OFF the Printer and allow the Printer to dry for 15 minutes.
  • Power ON and check if the System Error Code has disappeared.

If problem remains, requires a Service Engineer.

The Backup EEROM contents stored in the Tubes System are not consistent with the ones required by the firmware.
