Error Codes - HP Designjet 500 PostScript Plus 24" (A1) Printer (C7769G)

01:11

The Electronics Module Cooling Fan badly connected.
Switch the Printer Off and wait a few minutes. Switch the Printer On again and check if the Error Code has disappeared.

If the Error Code continues, requires Service Engineer

The EEROM is not configured correctly (the product number may be missing).
Requires Service Engineer

Electronics Module failure.
Switch the Printer Off and wait a few minutes. Switch the Printer On again and check if the Error Code has disappeared.

Switch the Printer Off and wait a few minutes. Switch the Printer On again and resend the file that you were trying to print. If the Error Code reappears after resending the file, then try generating the file again and try to print again. If the Error Code continues Requires Service Engineer

  • If there is a wrinkled mass of media inside the paper path, lift the Pinchwheels (using the Media Lever) and clear the obstruction.
