-1 No printer selected. 
Select a printer. A printer must be configured in the application before trying to print.

-11 JetImage Software RIP

-11 The folder must be empty.  
The folder must be empty (occurs during file browsing operations).
Corrective Action: Check that the folder is empty before deleting it.

-12 JetImage Software RIP

-12 Unable to delete the folder. 
Unable to delete the folder (occurs during file browsing operations, typically if a folder is shared).
Corrective Action: Close all the applications and try again.

-13 JetImage Software RIP

-13 Unable to rename the folder.  
Occurs during file browsing operations, usually due to a share issue.

-14 JetImage Software RIP

-14 Unable to reserve the scanner.
Check and see if any other application is using the scanner.

Check the ID switch settings on the Operators Panel: – For HP Designjet copier cc800ps: 00011000 (0=OFF, 1=ON).
For HP Designjet 815mfp: 00011011 (0=OFF, 1=ON) – For HP Designjet scanner 4200: 00100101 (0=OFF, 1=ON).
Check that the Operators Panel is correctly connected.  
The Operators Panel is faulty if this is the case then requires a Service Engineer.

 

08-149 - Operating Panel

Diagnostic = Flashing, Wait = OFF, Ready = Flashes 5 times.  Error related to the Smart Card. 
Check that the Smart Card is valid for this scanner.  Check that the Smart Card Reader is correctly connected to the Controller Board.
Check that the Smart Card is correctly inserted.  requires a Service Engineer.

08-208 - Operating Panel

Diagnostic = Flashing, Wait = OFF, Ready = Flashes 5 times.  Error related to the Smart Card. 
Check that the Smart Card is valid for this scanner.  Check that the Smart Card Reader is correctly connected to the Controller Board.
Check that the Smart Card is correctly inserted. if problem persists -  requires a Service Engineer.

Problem with the Front Panel/Front Panel cannot be detected.

• Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power ON the Printer.

If this has not resolved the problem then a Service Engineer is needed.

30-141 - Operating Panel

Diagnostic = Flashing, Wait = Flashes twice, Ready = OFF. Correction of Camera B failed.
Make sure that the Glass Plate and the White Background Plate are clean.These may be cleaned with a damp micro-fibre cleaning cloth. (do not use solvent)                      Check the lamp to make sure that it is working.

If this has not resolved the problem then a Service Engineer is needed.

32-144 - Operating Panel

Diagnostic = Flashing, Wait = OFF, Ready = OFF. Stitching failed (it has not been possible for the processor to detect one and only one image of the stitching wire in the scanned input).
Make sure that the Glass Plate and the White Background Plate are clean. (Do not use solvent) These may be cleaned with a damp micro-fibre cleaning cloth.

If this has not resolved the problem then a Service Engineer is needed.

40-84 - Operating Panel

Diagnostic = Flashing, Wait = OFF, Ready = Flashes twice. The connectors to the cameras are in the wrong position.

A Service Engineer is required.

40-xxx - Operating Panel

Diagnostic = Flashing, Wait = OFF, Ready = Flashes twice. Error on Camera Board.
A Service Engineer is required to run further diagnostic tests to verify the faulty component.

Error Processing Job. This Error Code only appears in HP DesignJets 800 Series, or in the HP DesignJet 500 Series with an HP-GL/2 card installed, when processing either a PostScript or HP-GL/2 file.
Switch the Printer Off and wait a few minutes. Switch the Printer On again and resend the file that you were trying to print. If the Error Code reappears after resending the file, then try generating the file again and try to print again. If the Error Code continues Requires Service Engineer

If this error code appeared but was NOT caused by a paper jam - requires a Service Engineer.

If No: Replace the CD, it could be damaged.

The driver is not ready (FDD) Touch Screen error

The driver is not ready - The system cannot read from the Floppy Disk Drive (FDD).

Try the following: Eject the Floppy Disk currently in the FDD and place it into a different FDD. Can the CD be read in the other FDD? – If Yes: Replace the Floppy Disk Drive (P/N Q1278-60035). – If No: Replace the Floppy Disk, it could be damaged.
